About Us

Megan’s fascination with construction & design began early in life. She can recall family weekends driving neighborhoods and walking houses under construction with her parents. Her father started a home building company in 1994 and built homes for nearly 15 years. When she was accepted into the art program at the University of Georgia, she took an interest in interior design and found that she loved it! Her father handed her more responsibility within the company and she started making market home selections and furnishing model homes while continuing her studies at school.

Megan worked for several home builders in the Atlanta area including 5 1/2 years with Edward Andrews Homes (now Empire Communities). She helped build the department, first as the Design Manager and then as the Director of Design, overseeing a team of six talented women and over 350 homes a year.

In February of 2020 Megan ventured out on her own. She considers herself fortunate to work with several well-respected builders on the southside of Atlanta in addition to private clients. Her experience in management and overseeing projects from conceptual design through a successful model home opening provides her with a unique and broad skill set.

The Auld House design team has steadily grown and now includes four designers, bringing together a diverse wealth of knowledge and experience.
